About us

Kent Book Company is a well established (for over 50 years) educational media supplier servicing schools and libraries. KBC is a leading schools and library supplier in the UK and Europe. The company has a 5,000 sq ft showroom, servicing, storeroom and despatch centre in Kemsing, Kent.

Our customer base includes over 3,000 UK & International schools and libraries, and our specialist staff have extensive knowledge and experience of book supply, servicing and selection for the educational market. Our strategic relationships with major publishing houses are second to none, and we are extremely proud of our commitment to ensuring our customers obtain the highest quality of service.

Kent Book Company has been independently audited and awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification.

 How can we help you?

We will ensure you save time and make cost effective purchases for all your book requirements. This includes making ourselves available to you to help you order, select, source and prepare all your library and classroom books and other media.

We have a large showroom where we keep in stock over 50,000 items, including over 30,000 titles, including a core list of multicopies. This material has been specially chosen to support the National Curriculum and is equally suitable for teachers and librarians. You are welcome to select for yourselves or we can do it for you.

Schools and libraries order via post, e-mail, fax or Web for any media suitable for young people from nursery to A level and undergraduate level.

Customers who visit our showroom like to look at a range of books available and make an informed choice.Don't take our word for it - come and see for yourself.  We promise that you will not be disappointed.
